Seems like there's alot to choose from for impact gun for general farm duties. Ranging from £80-£300 .

Which would be the model to go for with a 1/2 inch chuck key ?

Looking at soley Makita due to having a range of other tools and hopefully pick something up in a black Friday deal ..

Borrowed this one off a neighbor to tighten a load of cubicle bolts was a revelation, so looking to get my own.

We have the DTW300, it's quite capable on M12, and will handle M16 at a push. It's so handy it gets used *all* the time. I'm sure I'll get the 1000 model at some point but it looks a heavy lump unless you have lots of 27mm/30mm bolts to do.

Buy the most powerful you can afford.

I bought a 3/4 milwaukee with over 2000Nm of torque and have yet to regret it and haven't found an intact nut it won't slacken.
It also has settings to allow you to tighten M10 bolts safely.

Was asked by a neighbour to help take wheels off an old lorry trailer as he was standing on a 4ft long bar and bending the socket bar.
The impact driver has the nuts off in about 3 seconds each.

A brilliant thing.

2000Nm?! Is that right? Sounds a hell of a thing if so.2000Nm is a hell of a lot of torque.
