Like I say be a good test. I'm not completely writing Milwaukee off, just trying something else

A fairer test would be to go and buy a new Milwaukee and run them side by side, we know you like your new toys

And you can charge 2 Milwaukee batteries to every one makita

If you want lifetime kit - Hilti do lifetime warranty, or at least did. My shed erector had it several years ago. Must ask him how it's performed.

Ah, fighting talk! I have a feeling (and could well be wrong) that li ion batteries may actually prefer being soft charged and will last longer.

Next it will all be just the wrong shade of blue and not smell as good as the Milwaukee ........just hit it all with a hammer and be done with it

What's the charge time on a Milwaukee battery then? What ah? How long will they last in operation under the same conditions?

As for hanging on the wall, I'm sure you can use your imagination

If kit is only lasting you 3 or 4 years, extra cost of lifetime warranty may be worth it?
Only downside is technology moves on and you're stuck with the old models.

Lifetime warranty surely will not cover wear and tare? Everything wears out eventually if used enough, and if you send a tool back and they say its worn out, then surely your gonna have to pay for the repair?

i have found one problem with makita and i do not know whether milwaulkee have the same priblem is that below 4 degrees and they wont charge until warmed up

3 months .we got a brand new charger with six brand new 5 .0 ah batterys

Hmmm, I will have to have a go with the latest ones I've got, I've not noticed any issues , but haven't been looking if you know what mean.

no worries,mostly working around peoples houses,so no probs ,if outside and cold try to charge everything up night before
