Male lamb with undescended testicles

I have found one of the male lambs has two bumps where the purse should be. He was ringed. The testicles are enclosed in the abdomen wall. He is now getting a bit frisky, but he is a good size and will be on the hook soon. He is still running with the flock. My question is how likely is he to be fertile and shall I panic now?;)

You've made a cryptorchid out of him. Common practice in the antipodes - makes for better FCR's.
His body temperature should reduce his fertility, but I wouldn't trust it - best to separate him ASAP.

I had a ram lamb with undecended testicles in with my ewe lambs about 15 years ago he was missed at sorting duento no balls..... found him mid december when he was being dagged didnt think much of it. Fast forward to early march ewe lambs start lambing from 250 ewe lambs had 220 live lambs! Had 5 heifers served by a steer that only had one ball at castrating and the vet assured me "no way would he serve anything its up inside him he will be sterile" this one never went to look bully even all the steers in that bunch went fat and i still have no idea which one he was that served them heifers!
