Wondering what to charge for a man and tractor with diesal and without diesal, I have no costs for the tractor like finance just insurance and wear and tear of the machine etc. Using a 140hp valtra

Well any really work possible like tanker work or drawing grass, I have my own machinery like round baler etc but was looking a rough price to charge to try and have myself more work around the year

And I do not wish to consider what is probably the biggest cost of all - depreciation, because when this tractor has done 20,000 hours I will not need to replace it [emoji15]

Not a penny under £26 without Diesel should be £30 really if not more.
add 60ppl ontop for diesel to cover its costs.
Any half decent operator is worth £12-14 an hr alone.
You can factor out the tractor isnt making much with the balance.

Buy an ex post office van (or hire a van for less than £4.50 an hour) and go work for Amazon if you think a days work with a machine and fuel is only worth £20 an hour [emoji15]

Anything less than £30 + hr just for tractor inc fuel is just not worth starting tractor, leave in shed and drive for somebody else , one day the tractor will need to be replaced or repaired and then you will see that the rates are way to low in the real world running own tractor. Don't go buying work with low rates ,

Let them do it. You'll make more money sat at home doing nothing

Remind yourself of this fact, tractor and man is a service, a very poor service at that, as you will be lucky to break even. It won't make you rich and will hardly make a living wage

If I was you I'd go back to school, get an education that will enable you to find a job that will reward you for your labour and investment.
But then again you might have always aspired to being a charity worker!

I'm from NI and only eejits are supplying a tractor and tanker and driver and diesel for £20. Most people I know are charging £30. For £20 you'd be better letting the machinery sit in the shed

sell the tractor, buy a ride on lawn mower, a walk behind lawn mower, a barrow, a strimmer, a transit pickup and trailer,
go cut lawns and tidy gardens 8.30 to 4.30 monday to friday, after work at nights hang out with your friends, on a weekend take a new hobby up, something like a woman, take her out, enjoy life and make loads of money, for very little investment and only part time,
or join the race to the bottom like in your post above
