Manitiou MLT523 fuel problem

I have a mlt523 with no power to the fuel pump or injection pump solenoid, it was running ok just switched it off and then it would not restart, i have put a cable from the battery to the pump and solenoid and it starts ok, anyone had the same problem?

Ignition switch went dodgy on my MLT626 and caused a similar problem. It would start and die if you know what I mean. Also the spade terminals get tired and loose. I have to crimp them up a bit with some pliers and push them back on. Wiring shorts round the engine as well.

Other thing is fuse box gets corroded and circuits drop out.

There is a fuse for that in box.
