Hi guys
Have a manitou 627 5000 hours 2013

crowd ram seems to have a mind of its own & when machine is revered starts tilting etc all on its own hands no where near joystick appreciate any help thanks

Sorry to say It's a common fault and caused by abuse of the self leveling system.

The tilt spool rod will be sticking in the spool block. As it's a solid cast block not bolted in sections you will have to buy a whole new spool block which is approx £2000 to £2500 plus vat depending which version is on it.

I've sold a few of them now🙈

Where is the spool block located on a 627 ?

its the big valve block on top of the fuel tank, cant miss it the one with all the millions of hydraulic pipes going to it :X3:
