Has it retained the narrow waist of the 627 or will it need a new bonnet every 12 months?

The bonnet is still narrower than the wheels, but is bigger than the 627.

Our 627 measures 2.18m wide and this is 2.15m (to outside of tyres) Width can be narrowed with tyre choice.
Main difference is side mounted engine compared to a rear mounted on the 627.

That's good, side mount machines always have scrapes down the side, our 627 hasn't a mark on the RHS. The filters look much easier to get at as well. What's the cooling situation like? Can you clean the rad properly? Reversing fan?

No it’s the replacement for the 629.

I have not measured height, but I am guessing that it is slightly taller because it was a close call if it fitted in one of our sheds height wise, and the 627 goes in OK. A low profile version is available in the hydro version and also available on 20" wheels if height is a problem.

As said above replacement for 629. Havn't asked about warranty or price yet. First job was to see if it fits in the sheds.

This is a demo machine.

I like the look of this Manitou more than the latest Merlo effort, have you given it much of a try out yet?

Yes still got a Merlo 326 as well. Still need to get a demo of the new 33.7 to compare.

Manitou has Adblue and a fancy exhaust system. Auto reverse fan keeps rads clean.

Was promised a demo of one of these in January, and have since found out that the demo machine that the dealer had has now been sold, they aren't going to sell many if it's impossible to try one
