Plug H on the fuse board, top pin burnt out. common as muck. will have melted a little bit of the plastic plug over the pin on the fuse board so you need to get some emery paper and a pair of needle nose pliers and gently rub up the pin on all sides. I can post you a new plug for the board and a new pin to crimp to the wire or if you main dealer is switched on they would be able to locate the part number from the sperate wiring loom plug PDF file on the parts bulletin.

This one was a later machine with all green wires but earlier ones will have different colour codes, still labeled plug H though. be careful taking the plug off the board as the locking tab likes to break off, just pull and wiggle the plug do not bend the locking tab out any more than required.

I do have a new row of pins with locking tab which if your handy with soldering iron could remove the fuse board and solder it in, this isn't normally needed though.

done what you said @ACEngineering the panels lit up and i've got fowards gears but no reverse any idea ?
i can hear the clicking on the fuse board.

must have a second fault as well then, does it select reverse in the display? if it does then its either reverse solenoid failed or reverse clutch pack, reverse clutch is also common to fail IMO.

or the f/r switch failed, or reverse relay, or maybe wiring at transmission ecu, unlikely to be ecu failure as normally when that happens on these which is rare they just dont do anything at all.
