Manitou 741 auxiliary valve creep

Hello recently our manitou 741 locking pin has started creeping open releasing attachment replaced ram seals yday and still creeping but doesn't if locking switch is switched on thanks

Our 630 does it sometimes but opposite direction. Swap the pipes and it'll keep the attachment on

Its almost certainly the solenoid valve on the spool block but depends how old it is?

Ah okay. That in theory has way better solenoids as the stopped using the expensive unreliable ones in early 2010.

I would disconnect the 2 solenoids for aux when try it.
If it still tries to power aux hyd then it will be the spool rod sticking in the main valve block.

If it stops then need to look closer at the solenoids and wiring. Particularly the wiring under the joystick cause that likes to rub through.
You could also take the ext and aux rollers out and swap them around to rule them out or just buy a new pair or even a new joystick isn't maga money unlike a jcb!
