I've had a MT932 for the last 12 years, been a good machine, time for a change, I'm after another 932, a turbo one, can a pickup hitch be fitted to them so I can lead straw with it?

Yeah but not easy or neatly. Counter weight it different to agri so will need a different mounting plate to normal and will stick out the back along way unlike a agri one that's built in to the counter weight.

You also wont have a double acting rear service spare.

Hope your not gong on the road! Home made NON TYPE APPROVED APUH Fitting would definitely cause insurance problems in the event of an accident. Not sure if a MLT741 Counterweight off a burnt machine may fit in the same position - basically I would expect 6, 7, mtr with same rear end counterweight fixing to aid simplicity of manufacture, must be plenty of counterweights lying in scrap yards off Ag Build Models which are designed to take standard APUH recessed into c/w. As long as the counterweight you are replacing weighs the same as new one, there will not be any balance issues.
I have seen professionally made APUH on the back of a number 12 mtr models belonging to a Midlands based hire co in auctions with a very distinctive hitch sticking out off the counterweight.
