Manitou hydraulic failure

Could it be the small cross shaft from the engine to the pump, the older ones were bad letting the rubber coupling go resulting in no lift or steering but still have drive

Our Manitou suddenly lost hydraulics and steering this morning, I’m guessing it’s sheered the pump because there was a bit of jingle jangling. Fairly sure ours isn’t a load sensing version.

Going to guess here as you say it's not a LS model!

It's either a construction spec MT or a poverty spec MLT side engine!

It'll be the splines on the hydraulic pump shaft worn along with shaft in 90deg gearbox.

What you need is this! Assuming it is a basic spec Agri or contruction MT / MLT machine?

This is a Brand new 90 deg gearbox of the type used on the 120hp LS machines that use a 4 bolt fixing for hyd pump and a larger splined shaft.

I get a Gear pump made to replace the poverty spec pump, which has a 4 bolt mounting and the larger SAE C splined shaft instead of the SAE B.

22 x new gearboxes on the shelf but i get the pumps built to order which takes about 7 to 10 days normally.

It’s a 634/120 I think. You have mentioned it’s poverty spec when I’ve ordered stuff from you before
I will get the serial number later, any idea of the price for the gearbox and the pump?
