Manitou lift Pump lacking power

We have a 07 634-120lsu the suddenly stopped. After some investigation found no power to the fuel shut off or lift pump. Ran a wire straight from battery to the lift pump and sh!t off solenoid and started fine. Any one know of any common faults to why power would suddenly stop?

Fuse blown, due to solenoid pulling too much current or due to faulty a electric lift pump, lift pumps are common to fail. there is a better version from perkins and a ever load of cheap copies that are just as crap as the old originals so not worth buying.

or a short on the wire to the fuel timing sensor or the wire from that sensor down to the bottom of the injector pump as thats all on the same circuit.
