Currently have transmission oil pressure lamp on and on checking oil level find it is full but there is black oil contamination showing on dip stick.
I only ever use correct transmission oil which is fine and clear so can anyone anyone suggest cause if this contamination and what other symptoms I should look out for that would relate to this problem as I am no machinery expert.
I do notice two things - machine slow to move off from standstill when cold (as if excellerstir not working) and boom slow to extend and retract when moving dung onto dung heap. I don’t know if these are related problems to transmission or separate issues?
