I have a 627 (2007) which is pumping the oil out of the sump into the water system.
Waterpump and oil cooler changed.
Head pressure tested and new head gasket fitted.

Still pumping oil into water

Any ideas???

Has it possibly got an internal engine oil cooler fitted on the inside of the engine ? what oil cooler did you change?

It has internal cooler on right hand side of block which has been replaced.

Is there any point in the timing case which has oil under pressure where it could pump through into the water?
It will nearly empty the sump of oil running for approximately 1min

Thats a big old leak then! wont be the timing case, has to be the oil cooler, was the whole cooler replaced or just the gasket?

was the engine cooked? common in the MLT 627, also common for head gaskets but not for leaking that kind of oil quantity!

I say its the oil cooler or a cracked block?

Was the leak originally as bad as this or.with your repairs has it got worse
It has to be pumping she oil straight into the waterway to empty sump in one minute.
Does.the water leak into the sump when the engine is stopped .
Unless it's a major crack I don't see it being anything other than the oil cooler ?
Did they replace cooler or the complete cooler and housing ??

I think it has gotten worse as we keep going.

It doesn't seem to be leaking much or any water back into the sump when standing.

We just replaced the radiator not complete housing but the housing looks good

Replaced Radiator?

The engine oil cooler is bolted to the side of the engine block opposite side to the turbo.

The oil in the radiator is for transmission.

I am now told that when engine overheated, the pistons swelled moving up the liners, allowing the seals get damaged and taking oil up into water jacket.

I'm not wondering where I can getba second hand engine to pop in? Any ideas?
