Changing my mt 932 for a newer model,
Any comments on a mlt741-120 Lsu, I’ve looked at one today, is the power shift reliable? Did seem to kick back on the steering sometimes, is this normal, 2008 yr 2200 hrs.

Yes I’d be suspicious of the hour clock, they do stop working. I had a 2005 741 and I had to put a new short drive shaft on the angle gearbox as it failed but I think it was a updated shaft that I replaced it with. The angle gearboxes are more prone to trouble than the powershift box. @ACEngineering will be able to tell you what issues thay have.

As said, 2200hrs on a 13 plus years old machine is almost unheard of and clocks are very unreliable.

as ever you need to go on condition of machine cause hours are irrelevant.

At some point a small accumulator was added to the steering circuit to help prevent kick back, not sure when exactly but maybe 2010 or 2012???

Did you buy it?
I saw a machine matching that description on a dealers website at the weekend but it’s no longer there

I have not bought it yet, everything work fine on it, been repainted at some point which puts me off a little, I’m only doing about 120 hrs a year, the 932 I have has been a fantastic machine, just under powered
