Anyone know of a used or general one to fit a perkins engine, for a radiator to fit a series 1 manitou 524t. Just been quoted for a new one and seems very steep. Just need the actual radiator.

I got one made for the komastu digger , origionial was €2000, a company make better quality radiators here and charged €800 for it . www.kilcockradiators.com

Google Radiator services in your area chances are that there will be one near to you. I took my JCB to one recently to be repaired but as usual it was F’d so they quoted me a new core which was still a lot cheaper than a new JCB one .

cant you get it recored? old school copper and brass on a 524 isn't it?

I put a bottle of K seal in a telehandler radiator and it worked!

The aluminium in radiators is pure chocolate, the one I got made is brass and far stronger looking that what came out of it.

saved us a few times, I even had a piece of metal through a radiator once, I crimped all the broken pipes with pliers and put some sealant in and it went on for years

I have managed to borrow a radiator while it gets repaired, the damage wasn't as bad as I thought, just crushed a fist sized hole about 1.5cm in so should be repairable, hopefully.
Nearly fell of my seat when quoted for a new one off manitou.

but a 524T must be 20 plus years old so maybe be thankful the new option is still available? I don't expect they are mass produced any more
