NADIS Parasite Forecast and Disease Alert Webinar

New Parasite Control Package launched Our Parasite Forecast Summary has now been replaced, with a new, more in depth forecast. Using more detailed Met Office data the parasite forecast has been developed to provide local forecasts for 190, 40km2 grids across the UK. The forecasts are automatically personalised with practice details and can be forwarded to farm clients the practice selects. The aim is to promote veterinary parasite control plans and the services practices provide. Veterinary practices can subscribe to receive this and forward it to their farm clients, to keep them up to date with very localised forecasts for Nematodirus, acute and chronic fluke and blowfly. Monthly summaries throughout the year will also be provided to practices. Practices will also be able to select Disease Alert factsheets for specific parasitic problems eg lice, scab etc and forward to farm clients as required.
