Hello, It's taken a while, but I have finally joined this forum solely to help return those Marconi Moisture Meters that my late Father stored/hoarded/promised to repair, but time ran out. Fingers crossed I am on the right thread for this topic. If not, I'm sure to be Moderated outta here. My father was Dr John Egleton, 81 Pinchbeck Road. Spalding. His trading company was and still is UCS Ltd, although not exactly busy trading. Hopefully posting here will connect me with those farmers thinking their beloved machines have gone forever, we are trying to repatriate them still. Hopefully to hear stories of how long my Dad would keep you on the phone talking about anything and everything, assuming you had the time to listen. Hopefully, to speak with Nigel, who emailed a while ago, about the vast quantity of spares we have, or maybe there are others who would love a career in repair and calibration? I will try and respond as soon as I can to any question & request, so please be patient. Those who have been an executor will appreciate what this task can involve. Add busy lives in a Covid world within the Oil and Gas Sector, coupled with decluttering 3 businesses and a 7 bedroom bedroom house, and you get the picture. I have been reading some previous posts, so will also reply via them. Nervously, spread the word within your farming community, hope to hear from people soon. thanks & stay safe Phil.
