Some one has pulled the wires out on the front of the box that go to the bit where you put the grain. On the box it says black and red. But my wires are brown and blue, I’m thinking red to brown and black to blue. And one else have brown and blue wires?

This is entirely correct, the wire colours are unimportant, red and black or brown and blue don’t matter.
Just don’t use the Green socket. (it was only used on older meters and clamps).

If anyone needs any help with a Marconi ?Meter then I am happy to assist if I can.

I’ve one here not working, would it be cost effective to fix. Was sent to the Late DR. But returned after he died and forgot about

Almost certainly worth fixing unless terminally corroded due to battery leakage.

Can I suggest you pm me the details and we can chat about it.
Please let me know which model meter it is.
Assessments are free. Just the postage/shipping (usually under £10).
I can provide spares and replacement parts.
