What’s the best way to get rid/control it in established grassland, got a patch of about an acre that has appeared from nowhere and is now thick with it
Bruise it and spray it several times seemed to be the answer. Still trying to get permission to do the patch in the middle of the Lockdown Garden here.
Pinnacle, thifensulfuron methyl, nailed marestail in my Soya. As you can use it at higher rates in grass I’d think it would do the job. I don’t think it says on the label that it’ll touch it but it has been useful for me on more than one occasion.
Pinnacle as mentioned above, or doses of 2,4D and MCPA combined. I can't remember using pinnacle and 2,4D together it may be possible but don't expect any clover present to like it.
It doesn't like being disturbed too much, I've seen it removed from maize fields with cultivations before. Pulled the roots up. Kyleo really hurts it, too but obviously will kill everything in the field as well.
