Interested in a machine he has but its a 6hr round trip to go and see it.

He's moved, over near Pocklington now I think. Never heard anything bad about him personally. Some stuff will be 'end of line'

Mark is all okay, large yard at Wilberfoss, I deal grain Equipment with him, no problem,

Yeah it was ours, we part exed it in to Wilfred Scrutons who must have shifted it on to him, it’s in good order and is genuine, only issue is it won’t turn off on the key, had to be stalled, been told by 2 fitters it needs the fuel pump reconditioning, for the money he’s wanting it should’ve been done

If its the JCB engine in it you need to change the needle valve on the side of the pump - with the pump being the opposite way round on a JCB engine it can not be changed in situ as valve screws out against the block! Releasing the pump from the block is only ok if you have access and the Kit / knowhow to remove pump, change valve and put back on - the last two I had done did not need pump recon - but an Ex Jcb fitter locally working on customers machine sent the pump away at great expense and he was supposed to know what he was doing!

May well be that’s why I was asking and I think I saw one of the trailers on here on the M&M Wood site so was just asking if it was maybe machinery at one site and grain stuff at the other?

I believe so as the address he gave me matched the address on mmwood, and spotted a couple of machines on both markwoodltd and mmwood.

Mark Wood, son does the grain handling side, Mark sells the machinery, very nice man to deal with, got a forklift of him last October, as straight as they come.
