Just found this thread. And it reminded me of my friends 125. If I'm correct they only made 14? And I think his was used as the test tractor for the BOSCH hydraulics. He said it was 2nd or 3rd of the line. I remember it fondly, because the Leyland engine had to be rebuilt twice. And the second time he wanted us to run it in on our 719 Newholland chopper. It didn't bat an eyelid, and was much better than our Ford 7610. I then carted with it, and was shocked by its power, mind you I was using a Ford 4600 at the time with 10t trailers. The hitch had to be rebuilt, because it spent a lot of time on a 2 row beet harvester, and it wasn't up to it. One day the weight of the exhaust snapped the turbo off. So they made a smart support out of angle iron. It was sold in the farm auction for pennies along with a 804. Nice to know were it is now.

Hi,
You are right with very low production numbers. I don't remember exactly, but less than 15 for sure. Could be 13 or 14 and only one with Perkins Phaser engine.
If your friends tractor is real 125 not turboed 100,it can't be test bed for Bosch hydraulics as all 100-series has Bosch-controls from start and 125 was later addition to 100-series during Scunthorpe era.
