Marshall QM14-560/60 r22.5 wheels

Has anyone got a QM14 with 560/60 r22.5 wheels on?
Looking to upgrade to them just checking if they will fit, poking around with a tape measure would seem to indicate they will but there won’t be masses of spare room so thought I’d ask if anyone has any experience of them on here.
TIA

I have never seen on on 560-60-22.5 most are on 560-45-22.5 tyres

I would doubt the 60 series would fit as they are a good bit bigger than a super single, the 45 series being almost the same size as a super single if not slightly lower depending on make as an aside if it is eight stud agri axles I would be wary of fitting floats if turning loaded on concrete a lot as axles will not like it much

10 stud commercial axles, 1.3 m Wheel centre to wheel centre, 9 inch gap between the tyres, about 7 inch clearance from top of tyre to body. Currently on 400 22.5 which “look” to be narrower than standard super singles despite the size indicating otherwise.
Overall diameter of current tyres 42 inches , 560 60’s about 48 inches, it all seems do able but I’m not sure how much movement would be in the springs/axles and also clearance on the mud guards.

Morning, if you go on the Marshall website you can configure a trailer. I have just done this and 560/60R22.5 is listed. That’s not to say they don’t alter the axle mounts if that option is taken.
IMO 45 profile work very well, but if your likely to be running on soft ground 60 profile will out preform.

I think if they put 60 profile on the axles go under the springs to get more under body clearance I'm sure I saw a qm at a show that sat a lot higher than ours does.

I can measure up ours today but it's on 45 profile

Wether they altered the axles for larger tyres was my concern too.
A quick google for tyre prices would suggest there isn’t a great deal of difference in price between 45 and 60 profile tyres so it would make sense to go for the larger option if they will fit without problems.

It would be good to know some measurements on 45’s, they would certainly be plan b but as I said above, there doesn’t appear to be a great deal of difference in price for them versus 60 profile

2011 it's on super singles now as the floats split and we had a set of super singles lying around. But they're pretty much identical size.

There's 4.5 inches clearance from the tyre to the body / mudgards and 4 inches between the wheels

Axle centres are 46 inch

Axle is on top of the spring

Thanks, sounds like there’s more clearance between the axles and the body on mine.

Sounds tight to me but if you have option of putting. Axles below springs I would go with the 60 series as they will be better tyres by far for floatation

Notice Marshall now offer a 600/50r22.5 option as well. Infact there’s some nice optional extras on their trailers nowadays!!

Having said that I just specced a QM1400 to £33k
