I've not read this entire thread ,but.... try bubblegum. :bag:
Since this is a public forum I won't name names or targets, due to some species protections you all have, but I have wondered if anyone has fed certain ground dwelling creatures this pink chewy treat, works a charm on similar creatures here:bag:

We bought some marshmallows to try on moles but never got round to using them so OH has been using them in mousetraps in the polytunnel and found a dead mouse by the unsprung trap today. The jury is still out on this one. :scratchhead:

GRRR.

Just had my mole man on the phone.
He set 24 traps in one of our 'urban fringe' fields on Friday.

Some bu66er has made off with 10 of 'em over the weekend.

It's not foxes or badgers - they've taken his little marker flags too 🤬

He still got 6 fury guys in his other 14 though.
So it's 10 - 6 to them

Anybody got any spare marshmallows :scratchhead:

One less anyway, little barsteward was making a mess of my lawn. No doubt one of its relatives will take over the tunnels at some point in time. Although if the dog gets a sniff of one she makes a bigger mess than the mole does.
