Mass Trespass?

Ideally, yes. In practice very few uphold their end of the deal it seems.

TFF is littered (no pub intended) with request for such access from 'new members' who never engage any further. All they are after is free access for their pastime.

I have seen the repeated requests for farm access permission and even had one individual approach me asking for access permission but on learning that I wasn't actually a farmers asked me for advice on how to get permission of the good folk on TFF.

I have, in the past, suggested TFF having a sticky thread for farm access, where folks can post their general information and a post code and any farmer (close to the post code) that would be interested in having his farm detected, or his rat population diminished, could pm the poster for more details.

Despite being a photographer, a detectorist, and an airgunner; I personally would not participate in the sticky but do think that it would at least allow TFF to bring an element of control to the situation and any requests outside of the sticky would be deleted.

Getting somewhat off thread now, so I will leave it there.

put a picture of a policeman, I am sure I have read that some how that deters people from acting illegally
I believe Dave Gorman had his nicked, I believe he found a cutout of Ross Kemp more effective as well as one of his mother.

I will be interested to find out if a local fan of XR will be after if they have issues as they had a group of older kids cause damage on their property where they teach younger children about the environment and sustainability.

Some time ago, in a thread discussing the pernicious weed ragwort, I suggested trading off permission for farm access against help pulling ragwort.
There must be no end of metal detectorists, airgunners, and even a few photographers who would be more than happy to do some volunteering in exchange for farm access permission. I would suggest getting the volunteering done before any access is allowed though. ;)
im a hgv mechanic and have offered my services to farms in exchange for areas to metal detect on but had no luck i never expect anything for free so always willing to help out but at the moment large clubs are offering money to detect land so it pushes out people like me who are prepared to put something back

Probably in danger of getting a little off thread now but I still think that a sticky thread solely for registration of permission seekers (be they detectorists, air gunners, or photographers) be set up and policed would be a step in the right direction for both TFF farmers and anyone seeking access permission.

The people seeking permission would introduce them selves and the purpose for which they are seeking the permission and include only their post code and then wait for a pm off any farmer reasonably close to that post code to 'perhaps' offer permission to said individuals; or maybe an interview,

Despite having been on TFF for just over five years, being a photographer / metal detectorist / and airgunner, I have never asked for access permission and would choose not to take advantage of my suggested sticky but still continue to think it to be a good idea.

Stay safe, stay well, and happy hunting.

Reread what I wrote green development part of that is I plan to offset the impact of the developments

I do support rewinding, I do plan on giving land over to national trust once I am set up to offset the impact of my development.

I'm eyeing up farmland within the M25, there's a drive for green developments in London, so I want to get in early so I can get in relatively early.
wtf are "green developments"?
I woz thinking that but being a farm ignorant townie I didn't like asking!

@GeorgeC1 - I see you're back again. Any chance of answering this one as there's quite a few of us interested?

I watch this chap on YouTube a bit, he recently had a bunch of protestors try and get into his yard and damage equipment.
Skip to about 23 minutes if you want to see the ridiculous way the police have to treat scumbags trying to damage property and stop people earning a quid.
If the police hadn't turned up I'm sure his lads would have solved the problem pretty quick.
