NiceFound another Classic today, would say not many of these about, is an original English spec.
Is it yoursIs available at the right price,
No idea really on them sorryFound it today, asked was it for sale,
Yes at the right price, but what's your valuation,??
didn't the later 595's as well ?But the 698 had the 318.2 which addressed the head gasket issues
yes IMO the 698T was better, a good one would drive past a 699Had a 698 which had a really good engine and would pull particularly well for its size. Later 698T models as I recall had the AD 4 236T engine which was turbocharged to over 90 bhp and was supposedly better than the 318 engine.
I never drove the latter so cannot comment. But I did drive a Massey 290 which was fitted with an aftermarket turbo to the Perkins 248 engine, and this sent it to over 100 hp. It was then was a superb tractor that gave no trouble over many years, despite the 248 not being engineered to take a turbocharger.
go to 115, I had one, mine was shagged thoughbest one was short wheel base 698 with 4.318 and after market opico turbo.
