Massey 3090

Hi all ,

I’m having problems with my 3090 , symptoms are as follows-

rev counter stopped working
Battery light staying on dimly
No power to panel for 3 point linkage
No lift arms unless done manually from under the cab .
Sure it’s electrical, done all the usual checks like fuses in cab and by air cleaner all fine . Alternator is putting out 12.6 v but when I’ve put jump leads on from another vehicle pushing the reading up to 14.4 v the faults are still there .

any help would be gratefully received!

Similar symptoms on my 3080. I replaced the alternator with a mahle mg272. This cured the battery light and batteries were flattening, now stay fully charged. The in cab linkage controls still were not working though. I then changed the back end oil and filter, now the in cab controls work again no idea why. Hope this helps.
