Massey 3095 trailer brake hose adapter

Hi i have been working in our woods and a stick has snapped a hose off the side of the trailer brake control valve. Ive managed to get the bit of thread left inside out of the valve but none of the hydraulic firms around me have the part. They say its a special adapter most likely witha designed weakness so it snapped where mine has snapped. Any ideas?
Looks like JIC 1/4 inch maybe to a random thread. Maybe metric...?

That is a restrictor to stop the brake pedals pulsing. It will be massey part but I'm sure you can remove the 90 deg elbow from it it then screw it directly into the valve. You may not even notice any pulsing.

Its an unusual thread dimension on the right of the picture. The rest of it i have the fittings.

the eblow has the same thread so just screw it in without the restrictor to get you going. get the oil hot then undo the bleed screw on the valve and pump both pedals together with the engine running about 1500 rpm

I managed to get the damper off an put the elbow directly in. I bled the trailer brake and now the brake pedal ticks like a clock when you press it. I assume that is what the damper was preventing.

Or do i need to do more bleeding?

Yes. If everything works ok then you've got all the air out. I would order a damper from a dealer and fit it when you can.
