Massey 35&135 paint codes

Hi All,

I am gettig ready to repaint both my 35 and 135 can anyone point me in the direction
of obtaining the correct paint colours for the tractors and the best type for use in a spray gun?
I would like to get them as close as i can to original

How olds the 35

Also what finish are you wanting

2k is nasty stuff
So vapourmatic is good paint
Also a 1k poly will give great results

Sparex mf/Lely/case red for the 35
MF super red for the 135

That's true,
The pre 60s were a darker red
Then it lightened up
By the end of banner lane closing it was almost an orange

The 35 is early 60's
also i have to get the grey paint for both...would like to get a decent finish,i do have a good bit of experience with the gun.
any advise please on a primer/base coat that will work well with the finish?

Preparation!!!!!!

Fill your debde after panel beating
Then a high build primer
Then sand it back smooth
Then colour it
Try and leave it somewhere for a week or so in primer coat

But not anywhere damp as primer is porous and it will suck moisture in
Then micro blister in a the future

When painting your topcoat
Thin it down paint your edges 1st leave them to tack off
Then lightly give it a coat not heavy

Then keep applying coats until it's all covered
Then thinking your paint up a bit and a couple of good build coats no runs obviously then leave it to flow out and hey presto
