massey 35 4cyl air locks

My Massey 35 has started air locking, I have tightened all unions and replaced a couple of copper washers
could it be the bleed screws? or am I missing something here?
Driving me nuts today trying to load bags of logs all day, must have stopped 5 times.
any ideas would be great...Thanks

Gauze filter under the inlet pipe to the injector pump, if all other pipes and filters are clear?
If you loosen a pipe you should have a good flow?

I'd start at the outlet of the tank, check every cause and filter

I would always begin at the middle of the system. Open the outlet of the lift pump and make sure there's good pressure squirting out there when you prime, then as Mursal says, the injection pump. I could show you loads of air bubbles in the fuel line out of the lift pump on mine but it never seems to stop it starting, not sure why though. Self bleeding?

some years ago I had similar trouble with our dexta and I could not find problem until I tightened screws around lift pump and when I say tightened only turning each screw very slightly but this fixed problem

Nearly all back together, I have done everything possible, every screw, joint, filter
Better work! got an hour or so work for it this afternoon...fingers crossed
