Massey 50B

Hi,
I have just bought an old Massey 50B, whilst unloading it the fan belt snapped, I have bought a new belt but it appears to be a complicated job to get it on the pulleys, do I have to undo the 4 bolts on the bottom pulley and slide the shaft out of the way to get the belt on?
Sorry for the basic question, but I am not a mechanic, just a hobby farmer/ digger!

probably, drive goes on to extra digger hydraulic pump, put a spare on and cable tie it out of the way. I am assuming here as only acquainted with JCB.

Solid driveshaft on an MF it’s left hand thread into crank pulley.

They are available, would only use them in dire emergency

fitted one to my combine a couple of years ago , spent the whole season stopping and having to take out more joints and readjust , proper belt fitted last year , my father told me years ago that they would never stay tight , only use in a emergency

They are available, would only use them in dire emergency

I put one on our MF65R twenty five years ago and it hasn't missed a beat since. It's done a lot of work as well!
