Hi,

The backhoe on this has always sat to the right hand side and my OH would like to move it into the centre. Does anyone know how you do this please?

Also, the wind caught the door the other day and the glass broke. Hunted around tinternet and can't seem to find replacement....every other bit of glass available apart from the door.
Any suggestions?

Push the middle lever back to release the clamps and push the back actor over with the boom

Or if it's just a flat piece remove door and take to glazers they will cut one for you

It's a one piece door from memory with a metal frame around the glass is bonded in

Oh aweful when the middle lever is stiff just don't force it and snap it, heat it if possible but keep away from any rubber seals in valve chest

He's going to show it some heat tomorrow. I looked up a few machinery glazier's, I'll give them a try tomorrow.

They are stiff, had trouble with my one, soaked it in WD40 for a bit and then got someone to push it while I tapped it down by the valve chest and it went
it pays to put some oil around all these thing from time, though mine don't get done as its not used that much

Ours had the split door. I have quite a few spares left as we bought a complete back actor for ours many years ago, and most of the old one is lying in the long grass.

If you get the lever to move , lift the machine to put weight on the clamps , this helps them release , also stretch the arm out and "Bounce " it a few times , sometimes you may need to do this slewed right to the left then right if they are unwilling to move

We've not had chance to have a go with it today, although he's sprayed the lever.
