Massey 5455 dyna 4 hydraulics

Hi all, looking for some advise about a problem with my Massey. 2011 Dyna 4. The loader has plenty of power and all the spools are fine but the arms don't work. They will drop but won't come up until the tractor is at full revs and even then they don't have any lift power at all and are very slow. Wondering if it's a valve or selanoid sticking in the spool block. All advise appreciated. Thanks

Is there a flow divider on or beside the spool valves? (Usually is on these) Black knob with an arrow and + and -. It gives priority oil to either links or spools. Maybe it's been turned to full priority oil to the spools. Play about and see.....

As it has a loader does it have the twin pump combined flow option? Blue switch (IIRC at that age) to combine both pumps to flow through the tractor spoolvalve and lock out the 3pt links. We had one where the combination valve was playing up and making hissing noises, heating the oil and affecting 3pt linkage as it was stuck mid way ish!!

Have you knocked one of the spool levers? My father did that a while ago, whilst 30 miles away from home and couldn’t work out how to crowd the bale handler back up.

It's not got twin flow pump, I've tried everything, messed with spools but no luck. Forgot to mention it seems to work when the tractor is cold but soon as the back end gets hot the arms stop working

If the tractor has combined flow(the blue switch in the cab) I think they have extra pump. One does the spools and loader and one does the linkage. Possibly your linkage pump is going weak?? Sorry it’s a bit vague it’s been 10 years since I did the training course lol
