Massey 5455 T3 Coolant

Hi all, I have a 2014 T3 MF 5455 (Perkins engine) that could do with a top up of cooling fluid. The stuff in the reservoir looks to be orange/yellow which I assume is OAT, but the manual that came with the machine states ethylene/glycol complying to BS 6580-1992, which would be your standard blue IAT as far as I can tell!

Can anyone offer any advice on what should be in there?

Wouldnt, some of the different coolants dont mix well, turn to gunk

They do? Hmm better get it drained and put proper stuff in it then.
Are you suppose to change the coolant every so often anyway?

Depends on machine, 2 years on an 8740S, 6 years/12000hrs on Cat telehandler...

Yes they do, if you mix ethylene/glycol with an OAT type antifreeze it can react and set like jelly.

If you dont know whats in it always drain, flush and then fill with your desired coolant of choice.
