Bloke 5 minutes from us has this for sale or will be soon. Gearbox just been rebuilt, fairly solid but can does have some areas of rot round cab although nothing to bad.

Loader has third service, self leveller, quick detach, bucket, spike, grab, pallet tines. Tractor works well etc.

We're looking for a loader tractor at partners spot (10 horses and small amount of land to look after) she currently has a little Kubota but it's not ideal. It'll live outside (hence why I don't want her getting a Ford) and it's to far from ours to go across with our stuff.

Seems abit much for me, but not sure on prices on these? What would you value it at?

Strange to see one with that brand of loader ,,the 80 was dedicated model for nearly all MFs ,,if its an 8 speed it should be pretty reliable

It is an 8 speed.

Its been a local tractor all its life. 2 owners. \not sure how long loaders been on

Theres two on ebay ,one is 4200 with loader and its a total shed ,the other has no loader and shy of 6k
the one above does look reasonably tidy ,atleast its got all the glass

I'm always cautious looking on eBay as half the items on there seem to of been on over 6 months unable to sell.

Its fairly tidy, rear tyres are well down but there'll do for awhile the use Vicki will give it.

How much will that loader lift? Ton? Just over?

Is it a weight block on the back or just a transport box ,,if thats with it and all the attachments for the loader Ide say the price isn't far wrong ,,try him at 4k ,worst he can say is no

Struggle to lift a ton ,,we had a 575 and a 675 and used the 80 loader ,,could lift a 500kg bag of fert but it made the back end abit light ,it couldnt lift a ton

I know our 4000 wouldn't thought this looked more substantial

Its more like ,how much the oil pump is worn ,not how much the loader will lift ,,500 series didnt have a huge oil output

The chap I'm talking to bought it to do a house renovation of the original owners, all he's used is the pallet tines.

Might find the rams are pitted with being stood left open ,Ide risk it ,,other than the superficial looks it should last

It 'lost two gears'

That's all I know.

I haven't gone as far as looking at invoices

It,s a fair chance its a part syncromesh box 3 and 4 being syncro its a french built one the syncro,s in them were a bit vulnerable to abuse with a heavy handed driver

Would be good to check out what kind of hydraulics it has, 1 or 2 pumps. Loader looks nice.
