Massey 575

If you already know the machine and the owner, I would not hesitate. As the saying goes "it's worth that all day long"

The chap who owns it now hasn't had it that long. He bought it for a project - finished it so tractors done with. It's been a local tractor though.

If it was a Ford it would already be in the shed

The one we had couldnt ,even on the 675 when it was new it wouldnt ,tryed two bags of fert but it was a no go
Ours wouldn’t lift a heavy chopped wet round bale, but will lift a 600kg bag no problems, tractor has twin pumps, both in good condition
There are 2 different versions of MF 80 long and short frame, one can lift more, I will look in my book, if I can find it

The leaflet dosent realey tell the true story remember the short loader is on the 3 cylinder tractor with less hyd pressure . It wasnt that widely known but their were bigger rams available which stepped the lift capacity up .,A ton pallet on a 168 without power steering took a bit of handling.

Our 565 with a 80 loader lifted a Volvo car on a truck for the scrapman back wheels came off the ground even with a concrete drum for weight only has a single pump the scotch yoke in the back end scrappie said the Volvo was not far off 1500 kg .

Only thing ever beat my 80 was a scrap Mondeo, I just stuck the muck fork through the back window, and I was pointed downhill, it did lift it once I got at it a different angle

Edit, 1455-1703 kgs according to Google for a Mondeo

Spoke with in laws last night. Apparently there seriously contemplating selling up due to health scares / issues and the area getting abit much for them. So there hesitant about getting it as they might be looking at somewhere smaller.

In which case Vicki's horse will more than likely be coming here :banghead:

Still think I'm going to offer £4,000 and see what he says. Won't be going anymore.
