Evening everyone I had a quick read at this one and see its got a bit hot and heavy in some parts. Its obvious even to me the initial poster was asking for help which we all do and thankfully help here is very forthcoming from a lot of people.

However we all run machines which can fail from time to time, accidents can happen unfortunately we cannot predict this if we could then they wouldn't happen in the first place.

Speaking personally I would be afraid to use that machine. If that machine was involved in an incident causing injury/death to someone either operator or bystander the Health and Safety Executive would be all over it I would think! Next would be the Insurance company and while I'm guessing I think they would walk away! If the machine is operating in the public domain with kids,OAPs etc in the area that's a nightmare!!!!!!!

The tractor has several stickers on it one I think from the original supplying dealer.

I have received in the post a cd rom of manuals which I will be printing the pertinent pages to disseminate amongst the members.

i shall also be going hunting for nipples with a grease gun... any old grease do or does it have to be Ag Spec? Don't want to fall foul of minimum grease spec legislation.......

I have received the dire warnings and welcome offers of help to come and rectify them on a pro bono basis.

Regards captain sh!t tractor
