Massey 6150 or 3075

I'm looking to upgrade my mf565 - Which of the two tractors would be the better buy too look out for? Either a 6150 or a 3075? I've seen a few tidy 6150s about recently, but not many 3075's though. I assume they have Pretty much the same engine and gear box apart from dynashift / speed shift. I also Assume the front axles pivot pin is as bad promote to wear as the 3075, and Also assume the brakes are the similar for wear too and the potential to cause hydraulic pump issues. Is there any other problems a 6150 would have that the 3075 would have or vice versa?

Advice greatly recieved !

Good 3075's are going be getting hard to find as the youngest one's are fast approaching 25 year's old now

No there is not many about now. Probably why there is more 6150's to choose from.

I'm used the the 16 speed speedshift as that's is in the 3115, is the dynashift as robust ?

We have a 6150 Dyna with pre select electric shuttle which can be temperamental at times. Also have a 3075 without Dyna (16 speed) and a manual shuttle gear lever.
The manual shuttle is more reliable, but I much prefer Dynashift to the speed shift. If you could find a late 3075 with Dynashift I would think it might be a good compromise.

Apparently the 6200 series are far more reliable than the 6100 range?

We used to have one of the last 3075s too be built, was one of the best tractors we have ever had, shame too let it go, but it was approaching 10000 hours and we needed a bigger tractor too replace it with, definitely try and find one with dynashift though! So much nicer too use.

Why not a 6255 or 6265 then? I saw a 6265 sold at auction last week for 11k and it looked a reasonable buy for someone

I've not really looked at the 6200 range - always thought a bit out of price range at present. I've heard people grumble a bit about the 6100 range but never known what the problems are with them.

I thought about the 300's but ideally a 40 kph box would be more useful for me.

Well when you were happy with the 565 (we don't like 500's here) you should be well please with whatever you get. If you don't spanner, might be worth getting a bit of warranty ........

Why don't you like 500 series? I used to work somewhere and they thought 500 series were a disaster, but 200 excellent, only difference is the tin and cab
