Thanks will look at that haven't had chance today , did check alternator and that's putting out 14.3v , have just replaced hydraulic pump and brakes so had all wires off but was working fine when put back together, it's going to be a tricky case of finding the broken wire I guess

It was a dodgy connection onto the potentiometer that I couldn't see till I had dropped trailer off and lowered arms down , thanks for the help

Another problem that's appeared is when you lift the arms up with the rocker switch the arms are going right to top and pumping like they would if you was using the buttons at back to drop hitch. But the lift height switch isn't making a difference to lift height ... any suggestions ?

Bolt sheared on end of cross shaft allowing it move sideways. Maladjusted or broken position sensor

How do i set the sensor up ? Tried just moving in and out slightly but can't get it in correct place ? Manual talks about using the tester to set it up

Hi - Never been on a forum before but read the contents of the above. My lift arms have stopped working but I am getting a regular pattern of flashing light top right hand corner of hydraulic control panel in red triangle that is flashes 2 2 2 7. Is this relevant? Any help much appreciated

you should have 3 live feeds to the lift panel one constant one when the ignition is on and one when the tractor is running which one do you have ?
One when the tractor is running. Ive looked underneath the computer box by rh step and there is a group of wires that are crimped together. There is a single orange wire that appears to have separated but its not obvious which wire its come off. all the other wires are matching colours but no orange beyond the crimp. It looks to me like a plug may have failed and they have joint the wires manually but the orange has no clear partner. I got my son to sit in tractor and switch the hydraulics to liven them and got a small reading out of the orange wire, may have been my imagination but I also think I got a tiny shock. I think i need to know which coloured wire to combine the orange one with. I'll go and get a picture and upload it. Thanks for your help on this.

Hi All, I have a 97 Renault 610 RX and the back end doesn't move. Iv tried a lot of the suggestions mentioned here and the permanent live at the control unit inside the cab is missing, I tried tracing where the break might be and all I found was various other wires with strangely low voltages at the back round connector. I believe I have one or more corroded wires/earths but I'm struggling to trace it. I've searched the net and even contacted main dealers and offered to pay for a copy of the wiring diagram with no luck, I don't expect anything for free so if someone could help me I would happy to pay for it and I'd be so very grateful. I'm pretty confident that with this I will be one step closer to resolving this issue which is driving me mad. Thanks in advance.
