Massey 6400 exhaust

Ok, still on this, I've measured the exhaust on our 6470 against our T3 6480 and 5475, all measure the same.
We replaced the exhaust on the 5475 last year and the part no is 4286760M5, so done a quick Google search, the MF 10+ site the exhaust is suitable for T2 6480's and T3 6470's and T2 5400's
Another site says that number is suitable for T3 5475 and 6480 but no mention of 6470
So, long story short, am I correct in thinking that part number will be suitable for all our tractors?

Should be on RIP OFF BRITAIN the price of some of the spare parts diff dealers charge.

Especially so when you consider how fast the OEM burns out. I'm surprised they sell any at all, or is there some reason I'm unaware of for not going stainless?

Pipefab is the name of the Irish stainless steel outfit you are looking for.
I don't have any connection to him , nor have used him , but when 90% of locals replace their rotten pipes with his stuff , their must be a reason. Haven't heard anyone complain about him.

Like I have said before it took a while to contact him, when I rang he was in the middle of nowhere and his mobile kept going off and he kept swearing at it, when I emailed it took a few days to reply, when I rang the office the lady there sounded like she had a charisma bypass operation, BUT it was worth the wait as in the end as his product is top notch!!

This is the link for the exhaust section. Pipefab seems to cover truck light bars and such. Either way, it's the same contact number for both http://www.tractorexhausts.com/home.php

It really does make you think so the dealers are charging roughly £550.00 for the Silencer on our Masseys & its normal steel.
that will rust etc etc.
Yet you can get one made from WAIT FOR IT.... STAINLESS STEEL for around £300.00
Now it must be way superior or Mr AGCO is taking the complete ####in# ##s# out of us all
Surely they wouldnt do that would they......
Annoyed but oh well they will sell less now thanks to this Irish Company. Hats off to them ;)

To anyone who has made their own pipe, how did you do the silly 8 sided pipe on the elbow where the stack sits on top of?

The stack on mine is all burst around the base of the stack. Tried patching it up.

Yeah i welded short bit on then got slightly larger pipe for exaust. Or if you wanted you could just take the bend of and buy new bend from motor factor or steel stockist. What model is yours
