Massey 6475 tier 2 head scratching

I bought a low houred MF 6475 2004 tier 2, have the tractor now 3 years, however at times at any point the tractor will stop and start as if you turned the key off an straight back on, this could happen once or 4-5-6 times randomly. Or turn off completely usually on a blind corner or somewhere stupid. Then turn the key it might decide to start or be a bitch and not another while but it will fire up eventually. Along the same lines it revved up full for no reason. Done this 3 - 4 times since owning the brute ended up having to pull the relay for injector pump. I've had the laptop to it and themechanical man says it's the injector pump fault so took it off sent it away no fault in the pump or electrical unit. Got it reconditioned anyway still the same faults. Any of you guys come across this before?

I think the battery isolators often gave trouble on that age/range our old 2003 6470 ran with a copper washer jammed in it and occasionally suffered with poor connection. I'd maybe try bypassing it for a while and see how you go.

Just another thought the engine wiring harness like to brake up but first check all your earth and power points the one on the front of the cab can cause all sorts of funny issues
