Massey cool box /fridge spring

as per title does anyone know where you can get replacement springs for the cool box lid both snapped on mine yesterday so now it’s flapping open over every bump,
I was sure I saw somone mention them on here once but can’t find it anywhere
if you can get the originals off, send one to springmasters. they might be able to fit you up. I sent them some solenoid springs that were too stiff, they tested them and sent me some more weaker ones. you might be able to get stronger ones

Ap ai
ive used these coolboxes since 2008 on 3 diff tractors & easily clocked 9000hrs between them all,
not managed to break a spring yet... fingers n toes crossed now ive said this...
id like to shove the poor quality Fan Motor up the B###ENDS #R#E tho when i findout who he was.
They all whistle on low speeds after a while. Drives you nuts.

After searching for a few hours for these elusive springs I went into town for inspiration, safety pins!!
10 minutes modifying with pliers and I now have a fully functioning fridge door with a couple of spare springs in the cab ready!

Both still broke on my 7618 😂
On the 5713 one broke just opening one morning.
On the plus side my 57 plate 6480 still has both
