MASSEY FERGUSON 135/ MF20 INDUSTRIAL FULL RESTORATION

sorry for the delay guys my internet crapped itself mid download lastnight , it seems to be ok today but a bit slow .

anyway i got stuck into re-upholstering the seat using a great kit that the owner got from england , its going to be a great addition to the tractor and it is the nearest thing to the original and a hell of a lot better than the other one we got done .

went on nice and worked out ok for my first ever upholstery job , everything is included in the kit including drain plugs and gloves !!

i just have to trim the excess when the adhesive dries and fit an edging bead , will have more detailed pictures tomorrow

Them seat trim kits are very good I've fitted a few now
The edging strip could do with being stronger at griping I found hence the glue the sponge looks far to big at 1st but when the cover is folded around it all makes sense and looks great

Good job and well done
Oh this was my 1st attempt at the seat

few updates again guys , we are slightly held up with a few vendors at the moment ,

i left the windscreen frame in to be glazed and i have a few bits left with our engineer but he is away on hols at the minute !!

the electrician ran into a family problem so he wont be back to finish wiring till saturday at the earliest .

still we will batter on regardless ,

so we have the mirror glass in the backs and rubbers fitted and we also cut some rubber strips to seal up both sides of the cab where it meets the mudguard extensions , the anti vibration rubbers for the bonnet and the front grille also came from mackeys so we got those fitted .

the owner brought down the very sought after / impossible to get MF industrial badge for the front of the tractor , i think its cool the way its shaped like a front bucket of a loading shovel , there is a slightly larger backing plate to go behind it to really make the badge stand out before its mounted , i have the measurements with the engineer and hes going to make it of aluminum for us .
