Done loads of mowing with a 135 and that size of mower. Problem comes when in transport - it wheelies without front weights. It would be dangerous on the road.
Matches a 165 or 185 much better.
It depends on how much you have to mow,,,,, and, how long you want to spend mowing it. The CM165 was always way more popular than the CM135....
Get a few weights for the front as suggested and the CM165...
Ours is a Unifarm CM165 mower which I believe is a rebadged PZ? If not, it's a good copy.
It's been the cleanest cutting drum mower we've ever had. (once it had the correct length of blades fitted!)
Well built, apart from the hood which is now rotten.
It rides nicely too, in fact I pulled it with 100hp for hay a couple of years ago and cut nicely at 10mph+ in a heavy crop.
Had a couple of Fahr mowers before that, they were poor, have a fiddlier transport setup and generally I didn't like them.
Ours only gets used for topping now though, in fact probably wants moved down the road.
