I have a 1972 Massey 135,
am I right in saying the red is "Massey Ferguson super red"
and the grey is "Stoneleigh grey"

wheels and cab roof, are they "Silver mist" ?
what about the black on the grill, ? is it matt black, gloss black, or something else ?

Roof is whitey cream depending on cab types i think
The grill is a satin/gloss
All other colours you say are correct

Unless its a trick question of some description

no trick question at all,
the cab is a hard steel cab not the flexi cab, when i have taken off the roof, and removed the foam, it is silver mist in colour on the underside, so this is why i think the roof should be silver mist on the top side, ?
as for the black, I am not sure at all this is why i ask, but I am thinking more of a matt black, rather than a gloss, but this 1 i really dont know, this is why i ask the question

The grill should be a satin semi gloss
The roof hmmm interesting they were white on the outside but could of been silver for other tractors if the same roof was used etc

thanks for that, so satin or gloss black for the grill then, thats sorted what i need to get then,

now the question is, is it better to paint the water hoses like they were when new, or fit new ones after painting,
and the same question about the starter and dynamo
