Massey Ferguson 3065

OK first post so I hope this has been put in the right section, apologies if not.

So I've been looking for a tractor for general duties around our yard and a local tractor has come up for sale.

It's a Massey Ferguson 3065, 1994 with just over 10,000 hours on the clock and 2 wheel drive.

Mechanics seem to be OK but it could do with some cosmetic tidying to doors, wheels and mirrors etc.

It's also been fitted with a massey Ferguson front loader very recently and it's a 931x model.

It's up for 12,000 and theres no vat to pay.

Does this seem reasonable as I've looked online and can't seem to find many 3065s to gauge prices.

Any information would be very handy.

I was at a farm sale last week and there was a older mf 280 I think with a loader, made around the 8k mark, genuine kit is selling well at present, I think the newer stuff is so expensive, it's dragged the value up on the older kit. If the tractor is tidy and well maintained it doesn't sound to expensive,, you won't loose any money.

For a 3000 with over 10k hrs at that price I’d want it to be very very tidy. You’ve not mentioned which gearbox it’s got either!!! If it’s the 32 speed speedshift (A and B) on shuttle then run, run and run again ir knock 5k off!!! You’re touching on high hour 62 series price with a bit of tidying needed there. Only this morning there is a lovely 6280 on Facebook for £17k

It's the 16 speed gearbox mate.

Did you end up buying this back in 2020? I think I've just been to look at it today in Cirencester.
