Massey Ferguson 3070 not going in B range

Help needed iv got a Massey 3070 e reg not going in to A range B range is fine no problems at all it's a 32 speed also on the side cover of the gearbox at the front there's a plunger that goes in and out I think it's to do with the a and b change over it's leaking oil around the threads fairly bad

The locknut on the gear linkage (behind the right hand step) can come loose and cause this problem.

Thanks but iv checked that plus it goes in b range perfect

Maybe bent selector or play in the ball on bottom of gear stick
