Can't seem to get autotronic box to come to life, wiring has been tampered with before I bought it, no pto, diff lock, hi/lo, 4 wheel drive and oil pressure light is staying on too, thanks

Check the wiring harness connections under the bonnet where they go through the bulkhead by lh door, there are two attached to thr bulkhead and one inline smaller one, can corrode and cause problems, give them a good clean. Mine play up every year, have to take them apart and clean.

If it’s not pressure related have a search on here for Massey wiring, 3000 and 6100,6200 are nearly identical and plenty of advice given over the years on the issues. Get yourself familiar with the red and yellow feed cables, the shunts around the box and the clutch pedal switch aswell.

We had the same problem on a 6290. Turned out to be the speed sensor that goes into the gear box. Could also be a switch on the clutch that wakes everything up. before you start it when you put your clutch down does the 4WD light come on?

No, 4 wheel drive and red oil light only come on when clutch has been pressed, goes off after a few seconds if tractor not started, but stays on if started

Pay a few quid and download the 3000 series workshop manual on the net.
Check if previous owner has installed switches to override the autotronic.

Have an oil leak coming from the gearbox on 3080, looks as if its coming from round face plate just behind clutch plate, is it a big fix, does gearbox need to come out, thanks
