Massey ferguson 35 alternator kit

I bought a massey 35 alternator kit and I know where nearly all of the wires go but there 3 wires a dark orange grey and black that I don't know, it was bought off qtp so if anyone has any experience that'd be great. I presume they have something to do with the ammeter as I have the wires going to the indicator light starter, heater, alternator and the safety switch on the gearbox

I think you need to give us some more information, a wiring diagram would help.
Unless there is someone here who has done the conversion already.


I have done the conversion, but I have slept since.......

....however, be aware that you need to convert the tractor to negative earth (they are positive earth originally).
....also the ampmeter will not work.....so bypass it

I will try to find the instructions.....

Yeah I've changed the earth around the main concern was around wiring the ampmeter but if that doesn't work then that's grand I'll just bypass it thanks very much
