oh yess esp on the bigger framed models your on about
3rd gear synchro/bearing gives up.
Its the most used gear on all D6 boxes.
plenty on here will tell you.
Carefully driven ones will last poss longer but ive heard of them failing under 2000hrs.
For that reason i wouldnt run one on the larger frame, as a fluke i got a dyna-vt gbox on my 7499 &
as iam the only driver of it & pay the bills it gets the most respect possible.
Not saying the Fendt Trans in the Massey is perfect neither.
and poss more expensive to repair but atleast you would get a full trans if it ever had to be sorted.

Does the dyna 6 have issues with 3rd gear regardless of 40km or 50km?

afaik the 50k box seems worse...
but just what ive heard. so dont count me on it.
You be better asking on here & there is plenty Massey Mechanics who will tell you.
V few of the smaller framed masseys have these issues. unless they been remapped to silly power for example.

id stay well clear of a D6 one if i was you... Dynashift in T2 build no such issues.... or just get the dyna-vt as i did.
no synchro or 3rd gear worries.
